Take A Look At Our Basic Dye Sublimation Process For Our Shirts Plus The Basics:
Custom sublimated racing shirts allow you to print a full-color design on lightweight material without adding any additional weight or thickness. The ink used during sublimation is absorbed by the fabric and becomes permanent nearly instantly.
This allows custom sublimated race shirts and crew shirts to move moisture away from your body and through the shirt and never impacts our sublimation shirt designs giving you very vivid colors and graphics without the extra ink added to the shirts keeping them extremely light and comfortable plus long lasting.
Almost anything we design will work well including our selection of "Wicked Grafixx", real fire, smoke, flames, chains and patterns most of which are our own exclusive patterns like "Real Carbon Fiber and Real Steel" for that distinctive look not found elsewhere
The dye-sublimation printing process is used to print on polyester or other synthetic fabrics. It is used for applications such as the newest for of custom graphics applied by us for our drag racing shirts.
The original printers were an electrostatic technology using toners but now are generally large format inkjet printers using specially formulated inks.
The dye sublimation inks are a pigment suspended in a liquid solvent, like water.
The images are initially printed on coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 180 to 210 C (375 F). Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers.
The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image.

In Dye Sublimation the ink actually "dyes" the fabric. Dye sublimation is a 4 color (CMYK) process print process so it can handle any number of colors and types of images. It allows us to print both high resolution raster (.jpg, .tiff) as well as vector (.ai, .eps) file. The finished Shirts are Very durable, machine washable and comfortable.
